1. Installation
1. Step 1: Download and install.
In the Play Store click the “Buy”/”Install” button. This will download and install the app on your device.

Long press the “Simple Screen Lock” app then click “Add to Home”.
This will add a shortcut to your home screen.
1. Step 3: Run the app.
Click on the “Simple Screen Lock” icon on your home screen to run the app.
1. Step 4: Grant Device Admin rights.
Click the “Activate” button to grant Device Admin rights for the app. This is needed for the app to be able to lock the screen.
Once you click “Activate”, the screen of your device will switch off instantly and it will be locked with the previously selected screen lock type.
2. Usage

3. Uninstallation
Important note: First you have to “Deactivate” the device admin app before you can uninstall it.
Option 1
3.1.1. Long press on the app.
3.1.2. Click “Uninstall”.
3.1.3. Click “OK” to uninstall.
3.1.4. “Package installer” appears on the notification bar, swipe your finger from the top of the screen towards the bottom to access the notification bar, expand the “Package installer”, click “Manage device admin apps”.
3.1.5. Unselect the “Simple Screen Lock” app.
3.1.6. Click “Deactivate”.
3.1.7. Repeat 3.1.1.-3.1.3. and the app is uninstalled.
Option 2
Android 4.1, 4.4, 5.1, 6.0, 7.0 (Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat):
3.2.1.1. Go to “Settings” -> “Security” -> “Device administrators” -> Unselect “Simple Screen Lock” -> Click “Deactivate”.
3.2.1.2. Go to “Settings” -> “Apps” -> Click on the “Simple Screen Lock” app -> Click “Uninstall” -> Click “OK”.
Android 8.0.0, 9, 10, 11 (Oreo, Pie, Android10, Android11)
3.2.2.1. Go to “Settings” -> Click on the search icon or the “Search” button -> Type “Device admin apps” -> click on “Device admin apps” -> Unselect “Simple Screen Lock” -> Click “Deactivate”.
3.2.2.2. Go to “Settings” -> Click on the search icon or the “Search” button -> Type “Simple Screen Lock” -> click on “Simple Screen Lock” -> Click “Uninstall” -> Click “OK”.
